A studio flat on the market for £750 per month has been slammed as "worse than prison" due to the kitchen, toilet and washing machine being under the bed.
London estate agents boast of a "great studio flat" with a "mezzanine sleeping area" but the reality is that it sits above a kitchenette barely bigger than a dining room table.
A toilet is squeezed into a narrow corridor also underneath the bunk which tenants can only access by clambering up and down a wooden ladder each day.
Twitter users did not fail to see the funny side of the Zoopla ad which some said was a good use of space while others compared it to a Sims flat or even a prison cell.
The north London apartment is on the market for £754 per month due it to being "moments from Mornington Crescent Station" in trendy Camden.
It is also close to the world famous Camden Market and St Pancras Station with quick links to Paris via the Eurostar.
But the hefty price tag does not even include bills, with Zoopla estimating the total running cost of the flat to be £831 per month.
A kitchenette, toilet, shower, washing machine, bed, wardrobe and sofa miraculously fit in the tiny room which benefits from a decorative Juliet balcony looking onto the street below.
Speaking on social media, one person said: "This must be some kind of human rights violation."
Another person said: "Some prisons are more accommodating than this and £754 cheaper."
While others praised the tiny studio and its great use of space which some compared to micro apartments in New York and Tokyo.
One Twitter user said: " Listing doesn't give the actual floorspace, but it can't be any smaller than my old Tokyo apartment that was 17m2 and was a great place to live."
Another even went so far as to praise it "a steal" in the sought after area.
She tweeted: "This is a steal. I lived in a studio in this exact location Mornington Crescent, Camden, NW1 that was much worse.
"Older, grottier, no washer, much less light, definitely violating fire codes and it was £1000 per month ten years ago, and it was still a steal."
