Fashion aficionados, journalists, models and designers have descended upon the capital for one of the most highly anticipated fixtures in the sartorial calendar: London Fashion Week.
While for many, the highlight of London Fashion Week is seeing what exuberant creations designers have created for the catwalk, often you only need to look to the streets of the capital for exemplary fashion inspiration.
Those who attend Fashion Week tend to be acutely aware they could be photographed at any moment, and dress accordingly.
In the lead-up to London Fashion Week, The Independent spoke to Shutterstock photographer James Veysey to discover exactly what being a Fashion Week photographer entails.
Veysey said there was a sense of “managed chaos” during the seven-day event, saying photographers needed to be “ready and alert at all times” to capture the best shots.
