London Eye has opened its very own pub so you can drink while taking in the views

If you're after drinks with a view then you may want to bookmark a trip to the London Eye this summer.

The iconic landmark, sponsored by lastminute.com, has transformed one of its 32 iconic pods into a fully functioning pub complete with a gin bar, comfy seating and even a dartboard.

Oh, and of course you'll get to take in the epic views of the London Skyline as the pod completes a rotation, with unrivalled panoramas of the likes of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

The venture is in partnership with Beefeater Gin, so as well as a selection of beers and wines on offer you'll get access to specially curated drinks including the new Beefeater Peach & Raspberry Gin.

The new pub will open for visitors on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between June 4 and September 5. Opening hours will be 12pm-6pm.

However, you won't be able to turn up and walk-in. Pre-booking is required, and you'll need a minimum of two guests (there's also a maximum of five). Tickets start from £55pp which includes a 30-minute rotation, two drinks of choice from the menu, and a souvenir enamel Beefeater cup to take home.

You can find out more and book on londoneye.com/pubpod.

The Pub Pod serves up a unique experience like no other – moving across the capital’s most iconic views whilst in the comfort of a British pub!"
