Nomad is an impressive 5m long lighting installation made up of 200 individual components. The drops reflect the interior by day and become semi-transparent at night, when illuminated by LEDs. Each of the LEDs can be individually controlled to create numerous colour effects and variations using a touch screen, ipad or iphone.

It produces upholstery, veneering, spray shops, metal fabrication and specialist metalworking in zinc, pewter, copper and bronze in-house. The company holds the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.

Bocci is a contemporary lighting, design and manufacturing house based in Vancouver. It operates as a co-operative community of designers, architects, craftspeople, technicians, agents, governance bodies, testing facilities, raw materials suppliers and fine shops. In September 2005 Bocci launched in the UK at 100% Design and the 14 Series light was shortlisted for the Blueprint Awards. This chandelier is from its 28 Series.
