The London Bridge suspect who killed two people after going on a knife rampage had reportedly been released from jail a year ago.
The man killed two and left three more in hospital after launching the attack at Fishmongers' Hall in the City of London on Friday afternoon while wearing a fake suicide vest.
According to security sources, he was known to authorities and had connections to Islamist terror groups.
Boris Johnson chaired an emergency Cobra meeting after Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick said detectives would be working "round-the-clock" to get all the details about the suspect.
