A Lombard man who pleaded guilty to child porn charges is now accused of possessing more images while awaiting sentencing.
Michael Luna, 30, was already awaiting sentencing for possessing child pornography when officers conducted another search warrant at his home Thursday in the 2N100 block of Fairfield Avenue, according to the DuPage County state’s attorney’s office.
Prosecutors allege that “multiple images of child pornography” were found, and Luna was slapped with 10 more felony counts of possession of child pornography.
“The allegations that Mr. Luna was in possession of child pornography while awaiting sentencing on the same charges are very disturbing,” DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin said.
Luna was ordered held on $100,000 bail Friday, and is due for arraignment April 5, prosecutors said.
His sentencing is scheduled for April 28.
