Lola and Cricket Bell have been neighbours their whole lives, slowly developing feelings for each other. However, when Cricket and the Bell family move away with hardly any warning, both are left regretting not confessing their feelings for each other.
One day, the Bells move back next door, and so do the awkward feelings between Cricket and Lola. Cricket comes back as a terribly good looking giant, so once again they share bedroom views of each other’s windows.
Cricket instantly resumes his lovestruck feelings for Lola, staring at her in awe of her unique beauty at every opportunity. Lola is cruel to her feelings towards Cricket, shutting them out and dragging him on whilst she is in a relationship.
Lola projects herself as selfish when she mourns over her ex-relationship. However it was a delight to see the lovestruck appearances of Anna and St. Clair from the previous book! A light contemporary read with soul on every page!
