Lola and the Boy Next Door is a contemporary novel, the second in the Anna and the French Kiss series by Stephanie Perkins.
Lola has been living a normal life with her slightly older boyfriend and wacky outfits ever since the boy she loved moved away leaving her broken hearted. But when Cricket Bell and his Sister Calliope return, a chance at living the perfect 'boy next door' situation reveals.
I had mixed feelings on this novel as I found I had to put it down halfway through in November to read Girl Online, and it still took a while to read after that.
The characters weren't as loveable but the relationships were more believable between the characters.
