LoL early Patch 25.15 notes: All buffs, nerfs, and more

League of Legends esports is finally calming down after back-to-back international tournaments, and teams are now gearing up to return to their domestic leagues.

League will continue with Fearless Draft for the remainder of the year, and the developers are keeping track of some overpowered champions while buffing a few weaker ones in Patch 25.15 to make champion selection interesting and fresh for fans.

League updates are usually released on Wednesdays, and this schedule remains consistent for every upcoming patch. They land first on the PBE servers and then make their way to the live servers for the players.

The next update is scheduled for July 30, 2025. While the official release times across all regions have yet to be confirmed, the expected release windows for each area are as follows:

  • 3pm CT (NA)
  • 5am GMT (EU West)
  • 3am CET (EU North East)
  • 8am KR (Korea)

Patch 25.15 is considerably heavier for the champion-specific nerfs, and many champions have benefited from the last patch’s item buffs on Blade of the Ruined King and Kraken Slayer. Several support champions have also been targeted as they’re becoming staple choices to increase the champion pool in the role. Most of these changes are also focused around the solo queue for players.

Champion buffs

The following champions will all be receiving buffs in League Patch 25.15:

Kled

Kled received a major adjustment in the last patch, making his win rate drop and his ability to remount in the teamfights, so he will get some love.

  • Dismounted resistance has increased from 1-2 percent bHP to 4+ 1 percent bHP – 10+ 2.5 percent bHP (based on the number of enemy champions nearby).

Riven

The last patch’s nerf to Riven’s passive hit her strongly, so the developer might buff her in the next patch but they’ve given a crucial bugfix for her.

  • Bugfix: Riven’s Q3 no longer sends enemies across the map.

Champion nerfs

The following champions will all be receiving nerfs in League Patch 25.15:

Alistar

One of the hottest and staple meta support choices right now, so Alistar is going straight under the nerf hammer.

  • Base Armor is decreased from 47 to 40.

Bel’Veth

One of the champions who benefited from the last patch’s item buffs, she will get nerfed as the developer is aiming to take away her early game power and bring back some of her late game scaling as compensation to balance her.

[P] Death in Lavender

  • Attack speed has been changed from 0.28-1 percent (level 1-17) to 0.28-1.1 percent (level 18)

[Q] Void Surge

  • Champion damage has been decreased from 10-30 + 100 percent total AD to 0-20 + 100 percent total AD.
  • Deals 10 bonus damage to monsters.

Braum

Similar to Alistar, Braum was also heavily picked in the esports tournaments, so, adding to the last patch nerfs, Riot is doubling down on the nerfs to make a lasting impact.

  • Armor has been reduced from 40+5.2 to 35+5.0.

Irelia

Irelia also got her power spike after the last patch, so she will get a solo queue-skewed nerf as her presence in pro is less than expected.

  • Base HP regen per five seconds has been decreased from 6 to 3.5.

Master Yi

Master Yi has become a bit overpowered after the last patch. The developer is fixing that with a nerf but giving some compensation for his crit builds.

[Q] Alpha Strike

  • Damage is getting decreased from 30-150 + 50 percent AD to 20-100 + 70 percent AD.
  • Total monster damage is getting reduced from 95-315 + 50 percent total AD to 80-260 + 70 percent total AD.

Nilah

Nilah’s currently the highest win rate bot laner, so the developer is bringing down the nerf hammer. They’re buffing her early game by taking her late game scaling.

  • Attack speed growth has been reduced from 3 percent to 2.25 percent.
  • Base AD has been increased from 58 to 60.

Pantheon

Pantheon is getting a jungle-focused nerf.

  • [Q] Comet Spear: Monster mod has been decreased from 105 percent to 90 percent.

Quinn

Quinn is becoming a meta choice in the top lane, so the developer is taking away her early-mid wave clear while keeping her attack damage the same.

  • [Q] Blinding Assault: Damage has been reduced to 20-100+80-120 percent total AD to 65-205+80-120 percent total AD.

Rell

Along with Braum and Alistar, she has been a top choice for tank supports, so she’s getting a nerf to tone down her powers.

  • [W] Ferromancy: Shield decreased from 25-125+13 percent max HP to 20-100+13 percent max HP.

Champion adjustments

The following champion will be receiving adjustments in League Patch 25.15:

Corki

Corki is fairly balanced and the champion is a strong laner, which players can easily pick up. However, the developer wants to preserve that curve while making it a little less sharp.

  • [Q] Phosphorus Bomb: Damage has been changed from 70-270+ 120 percent bonus AD to 70-250+ 130 percent bonus AD.
  • [R] Missile Barrage: Damage has been increased from 90/170/250+ 80 percent bonus AD to 90/170/250+ 85 percent bonus AD.

Illaoi

The duration of the Vessel debuff is going away to reduce the frustration of many players. The developer is looking to overcompensate with power and usability buffs.

[P] Prophet of an Elder God: Damage is increasing from 9-162+ 100 percent total AD to 9-162+ 105 percent total AD.

[E] Test of Spirit

  • Vessel Duration has been decreased from 10 seconds to three seconds.
  • Vessel-spawned tentacle attack lockout has been reduced from 1.1 seconds to zero.
  • Spirit/Vessel tentacle attack cooldown has been decreased from 5-3 seconds to 4-3 seconds.

Rek’Sai

Rek’Sai’s true damage in the champion’s E ability is returning, and the ultimate is being changed from an assassin tool to a more generally reliable one. This should make the champion more relevant in meta.

  • Armor has been reduced from 36+4.95 to 35+4.5.

[W] Burrow: Knock-up lockout has been reduced from 10 seconds to 10/9/8/7/6 seconds.

[E] Furious Bite

  • Empowered damage has been changed from 8-14 percent max HP+ 100 percent total AD physical to 100-240+ 80 percent bonus AD true.
  • Cooldown has been reduced from 10 to 6.
  • Unempowered damage has been changed from 100 percent total AD physical to 80-192+ 64 percent bonus AD physical.

[R] Void Rush

  • Base damage has been reduced from 150/300/450+ 25/30/35 percent missing HP to 150/250/350+ 15/20/25 percent missing HP.
  • Cooldown has been changed from 100/90/80 to 120/100/80.
  • Resets on W cooldown (not target lockout) on cast.

Neutral objectives adjustments

Baron Nashor

The big purple worm is getting a minor durability tweak. While its overall health is being slightly increased, Baron will no longer regenerate HP during fights.

  • HP Regen per five seconds is going down from 15 to 0.
  • Base HP has been increased by 100.
