LoL early Patch 25.12 notes: All buffs, nerfs, and system changes

League of Legends’ Mid-Season Invitational is just around the corner, and the developer is ready to start making small changes across the board, which bring champions up to current standards and prepare them for the international tournament.

This League patch changes are hitting a large number of champions, who have been part of the meta and outside it as well. As stated by the developer in the last patch, the meta is looking stable, so don’t expect your favorite champion to get some love or go under the nerf hammer.

The patch 25.12 update is scheduled for June 11, 2025. While the official release times across all regions have yet to be confirmed, the expected release windows for each region are as follows:

  • 3pm CT (NA)
  • 5am GMT (EU West)
  • 3am CET (EU North East)
  • 8am KR (Korea)

Several League champions are getting minor changes to make them ready for the upcoming MSI 2025, which will feature Fearless Drafts just like the rest of the year’s tournaments. Since the format introduces a large number of champions into the mix, the developer is ensuring they’re well-balanced to take center stage. We’ll also have the Inkshadow skins along with the Uzi Hall of Legends skins coming in the patch.

Champion buffs

The following champions will all be receiving buffs in League Patch 25.12:

Aatrox

  • [P] Deathbringer Stance: Aatrox heals for 100 percent of the post-mitigation bonus damage dealt to the enemies instead of 80.
  • [E] Umbral Dash: Champion omnivamp has been increased from 16 per cent + 0.9 percent HP to 16 per cent + 1.1 percent HP.

Aphelios

Retaining his “scaling high-output but vulnerable” identity, the developer is helping him have a stronger early game, allowing him to lane more effectively.

  • Base attack speed has been increased from .64 to .665
  • Calibrum base damage (Moonshot) has been increased from 60-160 to 70-160.
  • Severum Bonus movement speed (Onslaught) increased from 20 to 25 percent.

Aurora

The buffs are toward the Aurora in the mid lane, and it should make it better early trading into ranged mages and tankier champs.

  • Base Magic resistance has been increased from 30 to 32.

[R] Between Worlds: AP Ratio has been increased from 60 to 70 percent.

Bard

The focus is on enabling a roaming playstyle, not face-tanking for Bard and it should make him better in matchups where he can roam freely.

  • Movement speed has been increased from 330 to 335.

Bel’Veth

[R] Endless Banquet

  • The cast range has been increased from 275 to 450 and it matches Royal Maelstrom’s ability range.
  • No longer locks out non-flash summoners’ spells.

[E] Judgment

  • Damage has been increased 4-20 + 36-44 percent AD to 4-16 + 36-48 percent AD.

Nidalee

The buffs mostly target her AP builds, while the top lane build is left untouched.

[E] Primal Surge: AP Ratio has been increased from 40 to 55 percent.

Samira

With the Shieldbow leaving the scene, Samira has been struggling in the higher elo ranks, so the buffs help her re-engage and chase down retreating enemies to gain some of that lost power.

  • [P] Daredevil Impulse: Movement speed per stack has been increased from 2-3.5 to 2.75-3.5 percent.
  • [Q] Flair: Base Damage has been increased from 0-20 to 5-25.

Twisted Fate

Twisted Fate is slightly out of meta due to slow scaling, but the buffs get him faster game impact to make him relevant again.

[R] Destiny: Cooldown has been decreased from 180/150/120 to 160/130/100.

The developer is reintroducing her to the meta via better performance in extended fights.
