Loganair announces new Edinburgh routes allowing you to fly to the Channel Islands

The Scottish airline that stepped up to safeguard routes that were put under threat after the collapse of Flybe has made an exciting announcement.

Loganair has teamed up with airline Blue Islands to offer jet-setters a multi-island experience from Edinburgh that requires just one plane ticket.

Travellers can now book a package which will take them from Edinburgh Airport to the Channel Islands in one complete booking.

The package offers a Loganair plane from Edinburgh to either Exeter or Southampton that will connect you with a Blue Islands plane taking you to Jersey or Guernsey.

Loganair said: "We're delighted to be working with Blue Islands to offer enhanced connectivity across the UK and the Channel Islands.

"Our new 'Codeshare' agreement means you can now connect between Loganair and Blue Islands flights on one ticket."

The full list of new Loganair routes are:

  • Aberdeen - Southampton, Exeter and Jersey (via Manchester or Exeter)
  • Edinburgh & Glasgow - Jersey & Guernsey (via Exeter or Southampton)
  • Newcastle - Jersey & Guernsey (via Exeter or Southampton)
  • Inverness - Southampton & Exeter (via Manchester)
