Logan Paul tells brother Jake to fight Salt Papi after influencer's KO win

Jake Paul has been told by his brother Logan to step in the ring with fellow influencer Salt Papi.

YouTube star Paul came through the influencer boxing scene defeating AnEson Gib and KSI's brother Deji, but has since ventured into the mainstream combat sports world beating the likes of Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley. However, he has remained linked with fights back in the world of celebrity fighting including against bitter rival KSI and influencer Salt Papi.

Papi featured on the undercard of KSI's win over FaZe Temperrr on Saturday, where he picked up another dominant KO win - this time over Josh Brueckner. Paul was documented watching the fighting bill with his brother, and Logan reacted to the win, immediately tweeting: "Salt Papi v Jake Paul, I need it."

Paul then responded with his own bizarre tweet, adding: "I'd f*** Salt Papi." Papi had already made a call of his own in the post-fight interview insisting that he would himself take on the 'Problem Child' if KSI pursues alternative opportunities following his win.

The American's brother Logan also revealed he bet $100,000 on the popular influencer, who made his latest win look routine, having already beaten Halal Ham and Andy Warski. It is understood that the Filipino star also has experience of fighting as an amateur in the sport of boxing, which would explain his high level of skill on display.

British star Chris Eubank Jr had previously noted his talent while featuring on live coverage, in which he said: “When I was watching him licking his lips in front of his opponent before the fight, I was like, ‘This kid’s got something’. It became very clear early on with the foot movement, the in-and-out, that he’s been practicing his footwork.

"And then he hit him with the two-piece combo and the guy went to sleep, incredible. If you look at him, he looks like he works a nine-to-five at a cheese factory. So, to see him come out there, moonwalk, dance, lick his lips and then knock a guy out, that’s box office right there.”

It is understood Paul will return to the ring in spring this year, with a number of opponents in the running including long-term rival Tommy Fury. Bare-knuckle boxer and former UFC star Mike Perry has also suggested he is waiting for confirmation on a potential meeting, having leaked an apparent contract.

He told MMA Fighting: "I think it happens. I don’t know what I can and can’t say [because] I want it to happen, but there was supposed to be a really cool location and that intrigued me.

“People are still in the comments think I faked the contract. What? Did I type that up? You think I typed that up? Come on, man, I can’t type that up. It’s ridiculous. People will see it with their own eyes and still be in disbelief. It’s not like it matters."
