Logan Paul says he is 'suffering from brain damage' ahead of KSI rematch

Logan Paul believes the brutal sparring sessions he is putting himself through have led to early signs of brain damage.

The 24-year-old is set to face KSI in a rematch of their amateur fight last year, which was a draw.

After fighting in front of 18,000 at the sold out Manchester Arena, the pair took their time to organise a rematch and now face off in the professional ranks for the first time.

Paul is in the thick of his training camp in Los Angeles, and previously claimed he has been ‘knocking out professional fighters’ in sparring.

The controversial YouTuber has now spoken out on the dangers of the sport.

“Sparring is a fast track to success because you get good quicker. However, it’s dangerous.

“It’s very taxing on the body. You’re getting hit in the head constantly.

Boxing is a sport that goes hand-to-hand with brain damage. I don’t know if you can tell, but I think I’m already suffering from it.”

“I got tired last year, but I don’t think anyone can tell me KSI is a better boxer than me. That’s just not facts and I’m a man of facts.

“This year, the conditioning’s improving and the relaxation is improving. That’s why I got tired last year, the adrenaline was rushing.”

Paul and KSI meet at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California on 9 November.
