Logan Paul responds to claims his and brother Jake's boxing fights are fixed

Logan Paul has hit back at critics who claim that he and his brother Jake rig their fights, telling them that the concept is "dumb as hell".

The Paul brothers have divided fans since moving into the boxing world over the past few years, particularly purists who feel that they are making a mockery of the sport. Logan has fought three times, once in a white collar bout which ended in a draw with fellow YouTuber KSI before losing their professional rematch and going the distance in an exhibition with Floyd Mayweather.

Meanwhile, his brother has landed five finishes in his six fights, stopping KSI's brother Deji in his white collar debut before turning professional in 2020. He stopped YouTuber AnEsonGib and basketball star Nate Robinson in two highlight reel finishes in 2020 before moving on to MMA legends and ex-world champions Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley last year, knocking them both out.

But a baseless conspiracy theory follows the siblings around, where fans online claim that their fights are rigged. The belief is that Logan was held up after being knocked out briefly by Mayweather, while Jake places clauses in his opponent's contracts that they cannot knock him out, although there is no proof for either allegation.

"It's so odd," Paul told Fight Hub TV. "I hate to even entertain them but I chuckle at how frequently people try to discredit what has objectively been done. That happened. I weathered Floyd Mayweather, not only did I survive but I thrived. Busted his eardrum.

"There's conspiracy theories afterwards, there's one clip where he hits me and it looks like he held me up. Y'all are dumb as hell, y'all are so stupid if you believe that. Like, I mean that mad offensively, you're so stupid if you think that happened. None of that was fake. I don't do that, I don't do rigged fights, neither does Floyd Mayweather. He's got too much on the line for that, silly question."

Asked about that same conspiracy theory surrounding his brother's wins over the likes of Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren, Paul was equally frustrated. "Same s***," he exclaimed. "Y'all are dumb as hell, if you think Tyron Woodley, the greatest welterweight of all time, would suffer a knockout that will live with him not only for the rest of his life, but centuries, dog.

"That knockout will be replayed for millennia, and I just think it's ridiculous. Stop trying to discredit what we've built, you'll never do it successfully, ever. You've seen historically that the train is going, it's moving now, we've got a lot of momentum and we are not slowing down."

Logan's boxing return is tentatively pencilled in for January 14, with kick-boxing champion Andrew Tate a likely opponent as he shares the card with his rival-turned-pal KSI. Jake, on the other hand, is confirmed to fight on October 29 against UFC legend Anderson Silva in Arizona.
