Logan Paul has publicly scolded his brother for being seen among looters during a George Floyd protest in Arizona.
However, the YouTube star also said that anyone who believes Jake Paul was participating in the looting is “a f***ing moron”.
“To be honest, this one is so f***ing hard for me because I love the kid,” he told his millions of followers. ”I love him, but I don’t always like him. He’s my brother, he’s my family, he’s my blood.”
He continued: “Sometimes I do not understand why he does the things he does as I’m sure he feels about me from time to time.”
“Why he was inside of a mall that was being looted, I have no idea. I talked to him on the phone, he was at a dinner that was next to the mall. It was very unfortunate but very on-brand for Jake Paul to magically be seen at a looting site.
Paul, 25, concluded: “While I condemn that he was at a looting site and stuck around long enough for videos to be taken to make it look like he was kinda hanging out, you are a f***ing moron if you think my brother was actively participating in looting.”
Jake Paul said he was documenting the action and engaging in a peaceful protest after videos showed him amid looters in Arizona’s Fashion Square centre, which is based in in Scottsdale.
He denied taking part in the looting, despite his followers believing he could be glimpsed holding a bottle of vodka that had been stolen from a nearby shop.
“To be absolutely clear, neither I nor anyone in our group was engaged in any looting or vandalism,” Paul wrote on Twitter and posted as an Instagram Story.
