Logan Paul demands Conor McGregor's teammate sends him fight contract

Logan Paul has told Conor McGregor 's teammate Dillon Danis to send him a fight contract as the YouTube star targets his return to the ring.

Danis insists he is ready to fight again after spending three years on the sidelines. A multiple-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion, Danis first trained with former two-weight UFC champion McGregor after he was submitted by Nate Diaz in his first UFC loss. Danis hasn't fought since picking up his second MMA win in 2019 having been plagued by a reoccurring knee injury.

Paul has insisted that a fight with Danis is something he's been calling for since last month. With Danis insisting he is healthy and ready to fight again, Paul commented on DAZN's Instagram post about the potential fight: "Is it my move? I’ve been hounding y’all to send me a contract for the last three weeks."

Fans have since weighed in on the potential matchup by stating that Danis, a notorious troll on social media, is not serious about fighting Paul. "Swear this the 100th time Dillon and another YouTuber spoke on fighting each other. Is this not obviously a way for Dillon to keep his name around? This fight is not happening so no one get their hopes up," one user wrote.

"Dillon is never fighting again, bro is a Twitter warrior at this point," another added. One user suggested that Paul is trying to book a spot on the undercard of former rival turned business partner KSI's upcoming fight, commenting: "Logan trying to get on the KSI undercard?"

Paul hasn't fought since going the distance against former eight-division champion Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout last June. 'The Maverick', who recently claimed that a friend of Danis' drew a gun on his podcast co-host during an altercation at a New York nightclub, has promised to "piece up" the Brazilian jiu-jitsu star if the pair do eventually meet in the ring.

"I'm going to piece up Dillon Danis," Paul told True Geordie. "Everyone would love that, that dude is the gum that sticks to the bottom of your shoe when you walk down the street, that dude sucks. "I'm going to shut his a** up, he'll talk about getting in the ring with me, he'll do his talking online that will get a little attention. But the moment you sign that contract, the moment that you're in the ring across from me the story's going to change a little bit."
