Lockerbie pub goes viral after recreating classic Only Fools and Horses scene on TikTok

A Lockerbie pub has gone viral after a little bit of Only Bulls and Horses.

A TikTok video showing the Black Bull owner Ian McLatchie and barman Ryan Jamieson reenacting the famous Del Boy falling through the bar scene has racked up tens of thousands of views since it was posted online.

Pub punters have been lapping up the hilarious spoof after it was posted on the bar’s Facebook page.

And remarkably it didn’t take long for the pair to nail the scene.

Ian said: “That was our first take as well. Honestly.

“During lockdown, Ryan has been doing loads of these wee TikTok videos.

“Now I’m an old man so I didn’t know much about them but Ryan was like a dog with a slipper.

“He kept asking if we could do this one and he had to explain to me how it works.

“I still can’t believe we got it perfect at the first go.

“I’m not on Facebook that much but it’s gone down really well and Ryan is delighted with it, he’s like a kid at Christmas.

“The hardest part was trying not to laugh after he fell.”

Barman Ryan, 31, said: “I’ve been wanting to do that video for a while but I haven’t been able to because of Covid-19.

“I’ve been doing TikToks to give folk a bit of a laugh and I’m really pleased with the result.

“People need a bit of a laugh just now.

“Not many folk will believe that was the first take.”
