Gardai are on the hunt for a pair of muggers who attacked a lady in a north Dublin shopping centre as she picked up items during lockdown.
The mugging victim had her purse taken from her bag as she walked by the green at Charlestown shopping centre in Finglas on Wednesday.
It is understood that one young woman and one young man blocked the shopper, cornering her before snatching the purse.
The pair were wearing masks at the time of the incident and fled the scene as Gardai were called.
Residents have been warned to keep an eye out for the duo in the area while also being urged to report anything suspicious immediately.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and are asking that anyone with information in relation to this incident should make contact with investigating Gardaí at Finglas Garda Station.
