We might be in the midst of lockdown, but a Friday is still a Friday.
And this Friday, May 1, Belfast Live is teaming up with the city’s dedicated music hub, the Oh Yeah Music Centre, for a series of live sessions to give you lovely lot that weekend feeling – and support Northern Ireland’s amazing music community.
Before it all kicks off, we’re taking a look at all 10 of the artists set to perform through the day.
And as day turns to night, Brand New Friend take the reins to bring things up a notch or two.
The indie-pop band, which consists of north coast siblings Taylor, Lauren and Logan Johnson as well as Aaron Milligan on lead guitar and Luke Harris on drums, has made a huge impact on the NI music scene, even opening for huge acts including Snow Patrol, Ash and Lewis Capaldi.
Their music has been played on Radio 1, Radio X and 6 Music, and their latest EP, A Cure For Living, was released on February 14.
