Lockdown leaves Jade Thirlwall with withdrawal symptoms and struggling to sleep

Little Mix star Jade Thirwall has admitted to not being able to sleep during lockdown and struggling with 'withdrawal symptoms'.

The South Shields singer is currently self-isolating in her plush East London pad, following PM Boris Johnson's advice to the nation to avoid leaving the house wherever possible.

But the 27-year-old has opened up to Glamour magazine about how she's not coping at all with being separated from her Little Mix bandmates.

The X Factor winning girl group released their new single Break Up Song last week but plans for a lavish vudeo shoot overseas have now been shelved due to coronavirus.

And, in her interview with Glamour, Jade said she's finding it tough.

She explained: "I am really struggling to sleep. I'm a bit of an over thinker anyways, so when I get to bed that's when I have all these thoughts going on in my head. I struggle to sleep anyway but it's in overdrive at the minute," she told Glamour magazine.

"I'm definitely having withdrawal symptoms. Just because we have a laugh every day at work and I genuinely see the girls more than I'd see my family or friends.

"I'm really missing the girls especially because we were just about to go headfirst into our campaign. I'm missing not doing work with them."

Appearing on This Morning earlier this week, Jade said she'd been spending her time in self-isolation doing jigsaws and building a huge 4,000 piece Disney castle out of Lego.
