Ireland's incidence rate now stands at 209.6 after a Christmas surge that has seen 9,979 new Covid-19 cases in just 14 days.
Dr Tony Holohan has warned that the situation is fast deteriorating and with lockdown back underway, it will be a week or two into January before restrictions have an impact on cases.
Donegal, Wexford, Limerick and Louth now all have rates of more than 300 per 100,000 over the past 14-days.
Speaking on Sunday night, Dr Holohan said: "If we do not act now to stop the spread of COVID-19, we will not be able to protect those in our society that are most at risk of serious illness or death.
"Stay home, do not visit friends or family unless you are providing essential care and do not have visitors to your home. Follow the public health advice."
Here's an in-depth look at how each county in the Republic of Ireland is faring right now - data is from the Department of Health up until midnight, December 26.
