The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has confirmed a number of new 'pop-up' Covid-19 test centre locations across Ireland this week.
People will not be required to get a referral from their GPs and the tests will be free.
They will have to bring ID and provide their phone number in order to get their results.
You can use this free, walk-in Covid-19 testing service if you:
- Are aged 16 and over
- Do not have symptoms, but would like to be tested
- May not have your own GP (doctor),
Minister Donnelly said last month the aim of these pop up facilities is to “target” the virus.
The following centres are due to come into/remain in operation around the country for asymptomatic people:
- Tallaght Stadium, Whitestown Way, Tallaght - Sun 18th to Thurs 22nd (11-7)
- St Peregrine's GAA Club, Blakestown Road, Mulhuddart - Sat 10th to Wed 21st (11-7, extended by five days)

Tanáiste Leo Varadkar has said he hopes the hospitality sector could allow customers indoors over the summer.
Mr Varadkar said although outdoor dining is evidently safer he "hopes to get to the point where both would be possible."

Mr Varadkar was speaking at Government Buildings this evening in which he said the government will have a plan at the end of the month to outline the easing of restrictions for sectors into July, including for the hospitality and retail sector.
