The Thursday air was as crisp as it was tense, as press and protestors awaited Roger Stone’s exit from the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
The onetime adviser to President Donald Trump received a 40-month prison sentence on charges of lying to Congress and witness tampering while trying to protect his former boss. Stone exited the courthouse doors to a press gaggle and competing chants of “lock him up,” and “pardon Roger Stone.”
