Youngsters enjoyed a Christmas party at Loch Lomond Rugby Club after generous local firms stepped in to help.
Daniel’s Wish, which was launched earlier this year by Alexandria mum Kirsty Campbell, organised the festive day for children across the area.
The group supports parents and carers, while providing opportunities for children and young people with complex needs to participate in activities in a safe, stimulating and non-judgmental environment.
Dozens of children enjoyed the Christmas party, and even Santa paid them a visit and gifted them all a special treat.
A raffle on the day also raised an incredible £900 for the group, which will help support its plans for 2023.
Loch Lomond Rugby Club provided use of the venue, while Steven Ledgerwood, from Ledgerwood Electrical, donated money which allowed the group to provide a gift for each child.
Heaney Entertainment also offered their services, while SH Balloons gifted a beautiful balloon display.
Luscious Hair, Nails and Beauty at Loch Lomond Shores also raised £151 last month for the group, with the funds going towards the party.
The salon hosted a special Christmas event, with hair and make up demos, and gin tasting.
Kirsty told the Lennox she was delighted by the local support, commenting: “The Christmas party was fantastic.
“The feedback from parents has been great. The children loved the visit from Santa and were just all so happy.
“They all got a gift from Santa and little gift bags.
“Our thanks goes to all the local businesses who have supported us but most importantly, thanks to the families for coming along and supporting us to support them.
“We are really looking forward to next year and have some exciting plans in store.”
