My thanks to reader Matt Weston for pointing me to an American survey suggesting which cities might be the next San Francisco. His own blog (find it here suggests he and a number of other small business owners are taking the issue pretty seriously.
I can see the kneejerk point, but San Francisco was a natural disaster. The only time I've ever heard the phrase "Earthquakes in East Acton" was on an old Goon Show, and I'm not expecting any tsunamis in Croydon either.
Does anyone else look at these issues when they choose a location?
