Locals treated as Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly spotted in Fermoy, Co Cork

Locals in an Irish town got a bit of a treat, as British TV personalities Ant and Dec have been spotted in the area.

The lads have been seen in Fermoy, Co Cork, and are thought to be in the country filming a new show about Irish heritage.

Cork Red FM listener Mark Collopy spotted the boys on the Dublin Road in Fermoy on Thursday afternoon, Cork Beo reports.

The famous pair both have links to Ireland with Declan Donnelly's parents hailing from Desertmartin, Co Derry.

Anthony McPartlin can also trace his roots back to a parish priest from Leitrim, Father James McPartlan who died 150 years ago.

Declan Donnelly also took Irish dancing lessons as a child and his family were active members of the local Irish society in his native Newcastle.
