Horrified Dublin residents woke up to find their street "destroyed" by vandals who illegally dumped rubbish on a green space and then set it alight.
The mindless damage took place on Cashel Road in Crumlin in South Dublin over the weekend.
Footage of the aftermath of the shocking incident was shared on a local anti-litter Facebook page, Dublin Live reports.
The Crumlin/Kimmage Sinn Fein Anti-Litter Watch said: "This disgusting, blatant anti-social burning of household and recycling waste on the green space within the Cashel Avenue area will not be allowed continue, with the relevant authorities now notified!"

Councillor Ray McHugh appeared in the video and urged locals to unite to help keep the community clean and safe.
He said: "It's destroyed the whole area. There's rats actually out here running around and the birds have been here."
Councillor McHugh contacted Dublin City Council waste management to ask them to clean up the area and confirmed he would putting in a motion to the council about the continued destruction of green spaces.
