Locals were in for a shock when a striking aircraft belonging to one of the world's most famous rappers was spotted in Co Cork.
The Gulfstream private jet owned by music mogul Sean Combs, better known as P Diddy, was seen on the tarmac at Cork Airport on Sunday.
The $60m Gulfstream G550 plane, which has a unique all-black paint job and has been dubbed "Air Combs", was a gift from Combs to himself for his birthday last year, Cork Beo reports.
The Gulfstream was snapped at Cork before taking off for San Jose Airport in the heart of Silicon Valley around midday on Sunday.
It's not known if Mr Diddy was on board, but the music mogul certainly loves the jet - he has posted pics and video of himself on board on multiple occasions and uses the G550 to travel to destinations around the world.
The very distinctive black and silver G550 was snapped by a number of keen plane-spotters including the Cork-based aviation fan and tweeter @_aviationian_.
It's believed the plane arrived on New Year's Day and then departed yesterday for the US.
Cork Airport is a popular staging post for private jets, well-positioned for North Atlantic crossings.
