Locals bemused as dozens of sex toys wash up on Scottish beach

DOZENS of sex toys have washed up on a beach in Millport.

The shock discovery was made over the weekend after Storm Amy hit the area with gale-force winds.

The bizarre find was made even stranger by the fact that the majority of the explicit items are still in a wrapper.

One resident said: "A couple who were out walking their dogs found one of the toys on Newton Beach, followed by another and another, and then found even more.

"Next thing, they are clearing the beach and they have an armful of these toys which they are taking up to the bin to clear them away."

The discovery has been the cause of much amusement on social media, but the source of the toys remains a mystery.

The resident went on to say: "If it had been a student prank, you'd think there would be a few, but there are at least 50 plus that have washed up so far, and there were more washed up on Sunday."
