Local Spar has word with staff over selling eggs after 'brats' target homes in Swords, North Dublin

A local North Dublin shop has assured locals they'll no longer be selling eggs to teens after a spate of homes and car were targeted last night.

Gardai in Swords received a number of reports on Friday night after fed-up families were targeted by the "brat" teens.

One woman was left cleaning her car at midnight last night while she spent another hour-and-a-half doing the same today.

Another man who had his car targeted while driving said the group fled onto some football pitches nearby.

The manager of the local Spar has now spoken to all staff to make them aware not to sell eggs to youngsters they feel might be up to no good.
