Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas presents a special five-course private dinner by Nawamin Pinpathomrat, an amateur chef and MasterChef UK 2018 finalist from Songkhla province, on Oct 19 and 20.
Nawamin, 29, a Thai doctor and Oxford PhD student, was described by the cooking show's judge as super-talented and audacious.
As a guest chef at the 5-star resort in Phuket, Nawamin will offer guests of La Sala a number of his signature dishes. Among them are Grandma's Garden, his rendering of beef carpaccio and burnt aubergine salad; Wedding Ring, consisting of pan-seared scallops, oysters and shimeji mushrooms; Anatomy of Crab, a crab prepared four ways; and other creations.
The private dinner, with a limited seating of 20, is available on both Friday and Saturday, and priced at 7,500 baht per person. A cooking class on Saturday afternoon costs 7,500 baht per person.
