Gardaí managed to chase down and catch a number of robbers who had stolen from a local supermarket in a dramatic incident last week.
The shocking scene unfolded in a local shop in Tullamore last Wednesday morning.
In total, 11 bags full of goods from the shop were stolen by a group of youths.
Gardaí responded to the call from the retailer and managed to track down the people behind the theft.
All stock was returned to the shop.
A number of offenders are to be dealt with under the Juvenile Liaison Scheme and others by way of court appearance.
