The Osaka prefectural and city governments are planning health care-based pavilion at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo featuring a ride that automatically diagnoses visitors' fitness and well-being.
Based on the analysis, the system will provide recommendations on nutrition and exercise available within the two-story, 9,000 square-meter pavilion that will operate under the theme of "reborn."
The Anti-aging Ride takes the visitor up a spiral slope from the first floor to the second, measuring their heath vitals along the way. It then determines foods and exercise that can be tailored for "restoring youth."
The foods can be tried at the pavilion restaurant -- served by robots -- and a fitness room can provide a personalized exercise program.
The pavilion will also showcase state-of-the-art regenerative medicine in the "hospital of the future" in a hands-on exhibit.
The two governments aim to start construction of the pavilion in April 2023, and are looking into the feasibility of leaving part of the pavilion as a legacy after the Expo closes.
