Ukip supporting graffiti and a swastika were daubed on a car it's believed belongs to a Lib Dem activist.
The car was reportedly parked near to a primary school in Kent and the tyres had been slashed.
A Twitter user reported seeing the car as he walked his daughter to school this morning, and believed the damage to have been done overnight.
He told the Evening Standard: "“He [the activist] discovered it this morning and it had been done overnight. He’s really shocked and really distraught about it.
“It’s just a really shocking thing to see when you’re walking your daughter to school.”

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report just after 3am on Thursday of criminal damage to a car in Albany Road, Sittingbourne.
"Initial enquiries are being made."
