Thursday May 5 will see voters head to the polls to elect their local Government representatives.
Many polling stations across Gateshead, Newcastle, Sunderland, North and South Tyneside will be schools or use school facilities.
Here is a list of the schools and nurseries being used across the five authorities and whether they will remain open, closed, or partly closed.
