Local companies invited to attend annual Lanarkshire business conference

Monklands companies are invited to attend the highly anticipated annual Lanarkshire business conference next week.

It will take place on Thursday, August 29, from 8.30am until 2pm at the University of the West of Scotland campus in Blantyre.

Speakers at the event will be writer and broadcaster Stuart Cosgrove, Tunnock’s chairman Sir Boyd Tunnock and Finding Your Feet charity founder Corrine Hutton, while the event will be hosted by Nicky Marr.

The conference will have the theme of “exploring new markets and opportunities”.

Guests will be treated to masterclasses in procurement, recruitment, financing and new markets as well as a business marketplace.

Delegate places cost £25, including lunch, and marketplace stands are £50.
