Local chippy in West Lothian handed out sweets to children in Broxburn at Halloween

A West Lothian businessman made sure there were no tricks at Halloween, just plenty of treats!

Liaqat Ali, who owns Marios Fish Bar in Broxburn, invited local kids down to the shop to receive a free goody bag since guising was banned due to Covid restrictions.

And his big-hearted daughters handed out the sweet treats to very grateful youngsters.

He said: “As we know trick or treat was cancelled this year due to Covid, so my girls Ayesha Ali and Sarah Ali decided to give all

the kids a free goodie bag and a free juice on Halloween night.

“No kids should be left out from trick or treat this year, no matter what.”
