Here is the latest news from around Tottenham Hotspur over the past 24 hours.
Spurs squad numbers confirmed
Spurs have splashed out this summer as Jose Mourinho made six signings, and their squad numbers have finally been confirmed.
Matt Doherty has taken the no.2 shirt following his move from Wolves, with new arrival Sergio Reguilon taking no. 3 off Danny Rose, who is without a number despite remaining at the club.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg takes the no.5 jersey after Jan Vertonghen left it vacant after his move to Benfica.
Returning club legend Gareth Bale found his favoured no.11 occupied by Erik Lamela, so he takes on the no.9. And finally, Joe Hart takes no.12, while loan arrival Carlos Vinicius takes no.45.
Deadline approaches for PL clubs
The deadline for Premier League clubs to register their squads for the upcoming season is October 20.
But some will be faced with a selection headache, as each club can only register 25 players over the age of 21. Furthermore, no more than 17 can be non home-grown players, those who were developed at an English academy or played in England for three seasons prior to their 21st birthday.
Jose Mourinho’s task should be fairly straightforward, with new arrivals Gareth Bale and Joe Hart counting towards the homegrown quota.

But north London rivals Arsenal face a dilemma, as they currently have 19 non home-grown players in the side, meaning Gunners boss Mikel Arteta must cut two before the deadline.
Lo Celso withdraws from international duty
Spurs midfielder Giovanni Lo Celso has withdrawn from international duty with Argentina with a thigh injury.
Argentina were due to face Ecuador on Thursday before a trip to Bolivia next week, but Lo Celso won’t travel with the squad after suffering the injury during training with Spurs.
Lo Celso has been in and out of the first team so far this season, but fans will hope this is nothing more than a precaution because the midfielder has impressed whenever he has played and has fast become a fan favourite since signing last summer.
The club face a hectic fixtures list as they juggle their Premier League, League Cup and Europa league responsibility, so Lo Celso’s speedy return to fitness will be crucial for the squad.
