Tottenham Hotspur supporters are getting excited about the prospect of Giovani Lo Celso making his debut this evening.
The Lilywhites secured the signing of the Argentina international on a season-long loan deal nine days ago, although he wasn't named in the squad for last week's Premier League win over newly-promoted Aston Villa.
This was down to a lack of fitness. He joined up with Spurs having very little pre-season training with parent club Real Betis because of his involvement at this summer's Copa America.
But with a week's training under his belt, could Lo Celso feature at the Etihad Stadium against the Premier League champions?
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has already hinted that the deadline day arrival would be on the bench at the Etihad Stadium.
"It is the same, we need to assess him," Pochettino told reporters yesterday. "A lot of things have happened in his life now. He arrived with no pre-season, of course he is trying to adapt himself, his physical condition, tactically, settle in a new country in a new philosophy and it is not easy.
"I can tell you he won't be in the starting XI, but if he is going to be involved or not we need to assess today.
"We need to see how he is and see the balance on the bench."
An one eagle-eyed fan in Manchester spotted Tottenham's squad arriving at their hotel in the city and his video below shows Lo Celso among them.
