By Jack Thurlow

Lloyds online banking application went down on Thursday morning, October 7, with customers complaining about having problems with the service.

Users took to social media to vent their frustration at not being able to access either the mobile banking or the Lloyds Bank app.

It is thought that thousands of customers were affected by the crash and were unable to complete any transactions.

Lloyds informed their customers at about 7.35am that the problem had been fixed and all their systems were working as normal.
