Lloyd Kelly shares touching tribute to Bristol City after sealing Bournemouth move

Lloyd Kelly has given his thanks to Bristol City after sealing a move to the Premier League.

The 20-year-old defender left the Robins for Bournemouth yesterday for what was described as a club record fee, meaning it tops the £15m City received for Jonathan Kodjia from Aston Villa.

It completes a whirlwind couple of years for Kelly since making his Robins debut, and he said thank you to the club on social media.

He said: "The past nine years at this club have been a journey I'll never forget, from joining at a young age and being coached by people I can't thank enough.

"I've enjoyed every minute of being a part of this club and that's all down to the teammates, coaches and of course the fans.

"I just want to wish everyone involved in Bristol City the best for the future."
