Llanelli estate agents shop shuts suddenly, calls aren’t answered and its website is down

An estate agents shop located in Murray Street, Llanelli has shut after trading for almost 15 years.

Sharon David estate agents closed on January 31 and staff claim that they were given letters saying the business would close with immediate effect.

The website has also been suspended and clients claim that email's and phone calls have been left unanswered in recent weeks.

The popular estate agents owned by Sharon David has been operating in the town since 2006, but clients began to worry about the business when they noticed that the website had been suspended.

Estate agents Davies Craddock confirmed that the property in Murray Street has been empty since January 31 adding: "It's a real shame for the town to lose a local business."

Nearby neighbours have said that no-one has been seen entering the premises for the past month and that the shop has been in darkness.

Two employees, who wished to remain anonymous, said they had received letters from a solicitor saying that the company was closing with "immediate effect".

Tenants and landlords of the company also claimed that they have not been able to contact the business since before Christmas despite it still being listed as active on Companies House.

WalesOnline spoke to the owner Sharon David, who confirmed that the business had closed. However, Ms David refused to comment any further.
