Lizzo has recreated Anchorman‘s famous jazz flute scene after accepting a challenge from Ron Burgundy himself (Will Ferrell).
Last year, the US musician launched the #FluteAndShoot challenge on social media, after demonstrating her own skills with the instrument in a live video.
Ferrell, in the guise of Ron Burgundy, accepted the challenge and responded with his own jazz flute rendition, which Lizzo then posted to her own Instagram.
Lizzo has now unleashed her own response to Burgundy’s challenge, uploading a recreation of the Anchorman scene to YouTube.
The clip sees her at a jazz bar with Este Haim, where she reveals that she “dabbles” in jazz flute, before accepting a request to perform on stage and unleashing a flute rendition of her recent single “Juice” – with pyrotechnics included.
“Juice” is the lead single from her forthcoming album Cuz I Love You, which is set for release on 19 April.
