Lizzo is more than summer ready if these amazing pictures are anything to go by.

The Good As Hell artist stunned as she popped into seafood restaurant Catch in Los Angeles wearing a rainbow crochet bikini top, distressed jeans with a slick of burgundy lipstick - all while clutching a Louis Vuitton cross-body bag.

Before leaving home rapper and flutist Lizzo, who has become a role model for body positivity champions, shared her chic casual look on Insta - as she did her famous hair toss, checked her nails and asked: "So what's yall's favourite rumour about me".

Lizzo is no stranger to showing off her bod on social media much to the delight of her millions of fans.

In April she took to Instagram to share a nude selfie - with no filters or edits - with her 10.2 million followers as part of a campaign to empower young people to love themselves.

The singer posted the candid picture - which was free from edits and filters - on Instagram to send her 10.2 million followers a very important message.

She captioned the raw post: "Let’s get real y’all.

"Now normally I would fix my belly and smooth my skin but baby I wanted [to] show u how I do it au natural."

Lizzo explained how she is partnering with beauty brand Dove as part of its self-esteem project - "which is helping to reverse the negative effects of social media and changing the conversation about beauty standards."

The aim behind the project is to help girls to realise their full potential by raising their self-esteem.

Fans and famous friends flooded the star with compliments on the movement.

One person said: "Now every time I see my tummy stretch marks I’m going to smile and think, I’m matching with Lizzo."

Another added: "LOVE THE VULNERABILITY AND LOVE YOU."

The campaign followed news that Lizzo had sparked a backlash among fans by promoting an intensive juice cleanse.

The singer took to Instagram in December to tell fans she was on a "10-day smoothie detox".

But fans were unhappy to see their idol restricting her food intake, accusing her of promoting "diet culture".

In response, Lizzo took to social media to defend herself, saying she didn't embark on the cleanse for "dramatic weight loss".

Following Lizzo's update fans rushed to Twitter to support her, with one writing: "Wait people are mad at Lizzo for dieting? Her message is body positivity, no matter the body. I’m a full sized lady who loves her music and feels empowered regardless if she is on a vegan/smoothie kick. She is a musician who doesn’t just exist to be my role model."

The star concluded: "I'm a big girl who did a smoothie detox and I wanted to share it with you guys.

"And every big girl should do whatever the f*** they want with their bodies."
