Lizzo has revealed a new string of European dates, including a headline show in London.
The American artist, who is touring in support of her breakthrough album Cuz I Love You, will play at O2 Academy Brixton on November 6.
It will come before two other UK dates, in Glasgow and Manchester, as well as gigs in Dublin, Cologne, Berlin, Amsterdam and Copenhagen.
Her Brixton show won’t be her only appearance in the capital this year, with a slot performing at Lovebox festival in Gunnersbury Park also confirmed.
The Standard was at Lizzo’s last show in London, at Kentish Town Forum in May, and described it as “a set that fizzed with positivity”, adding there were “lengthy ovations for Lizzo’s every utterance”. You can read the four-star review in full here.
Lizzo released her first two albums, Lizzobangers and Big Grrrl Small World, in 2013 and 2015 respectively, but has become one of the year’s hottest pop stars with her latest project. It spawned her biggest single to date, Juice, which extols the messages of self-confidence and body positivity that run through much of her music.
She was also one of the star performers at this year's Glastonbury, performing to a huge crowd on the West Holts Stage.
