Lizzie Cundy takes a savage swipe at Carol Vorderman with surgery comment

Ex-WAG Lizzie Cundy has taken a savage swipe at Carol Vorderman with a dig about surgery.

Lizzie, 54, took aim at the former Countdown host, 61, in a heated chat on TalkTV.

The conversation turned to cosmetic procedures as fellow guest and Boy George impersonator Liam Halewood revealed he had spent thousands of pounds on surgery.

Lizzie then took the opportunity to take a swipe at Carol, saying: "Listen, I spent around £16,000 not to look like Carol Vorderman!"

The conversation then took a turn as host James Whale probed her over having a bum lift.

Lizzie snapped: “Can I just say live on air, I have NOT had a bum lift."

Lizzie appeared on Talk TV (https://twitter.com/talktv)

She has previously strenuously denied having any bum enhancing surgery but James took the opportunity to play Lizzie an old clip of her discussing her posterior augmentation.

Lizzie bit back: "This is not fair, I've not had a bum lift, it was a massage. That was very unfair, I have not had a bum lift, what is going on?!"

Telly favourite and fitness fanatic Carol has also denied ever having boosted her derriere.

Carol is not likely to let the comments rub her up the wrong way as she and her perky tush jetted off to a juice retreat in Portugal this month.

She told fans how the break has seen her drop a dress size in two weeks as she spent her days meditating, walking, circuit training, HIIT, volleyball and doing yoga while drinking nothing but liquids.

Carol told her followers: “The final sunrise before we meet again.

“I've had an amazing few weeks here at @juicemasterretreats …. Coming home healthy and strong and happy.

“Thank you as ever @jasonvale for creating this magical place, and thanks @alexscott2 for being my gym buddy …. I’ll do you proud by the next time we meet I swear. I’ll be back again soon Juicy you can count on that.”

But a stay at the Juicy Oasis retreat doesn’t come cheap as a room for a week starts from £1475.
