Conveniently, given the magazine's title, there's a lot to love in the new issue of Love. Firstly, there are lashings of new season fetish strictness. Secondly, there's an epic Katie Grand and Mert & Marcus's shoot called What Lies Beneath, which runs over almost 50 pages and features underwater scenes, swans and a Ménage à trois. But naturally they saved the best for the very last few pages... Enter Liza. As in Minnelli. As in Legend. Shot by Terry. As in Richardson. Intake of deep breath... Trademark Terry Richardson: get the subject to wear your glasses. Liza, quelle surprise, totally rocks them, doesn't she? This portrait, despite also boasting a wondrous slash of red lip, a set of Cartier earrings and a YSL cape – a fairly mighty trio in anyone's book – is still all about her eyes, hair and lashes. The woman has had multiple operations to replace both her knees and her hips. She's still got that trademark leg kick nailed though. Just look at those pins! Spiky hair, a John Galliano dress that looks like a ritzy housecoat. YSL sandals. A-maze. High-five. Etc.
