Liz West installation lights up Notting Hill street in new exhibition

Art is lighting up a street in Notting Hill courtesy of a gallery’s new exhibition.

The series of luminous installations by artist Liz West use large prisms to fill the room with colour, which spills out through the window.

Her work, called Our Spectral Vision, is on show at the Daniel Benjamin Gallery in Kensington Park Road.

West is known for her use of luminous colour and light, with her work focusing on how the mediums can evoke psychological and physical responses.

She has previously had pieces displayed at the Natural History Museum and London Design Festival, as well as farther afield in Europe, Asia and beyond.
