Liz Hurley moves family into £6million mansion with 13 bedrooms for lockdown

When it comes to life in lockdown out of her natural habitat, Liz Hurley is far from being in a tiz.

More used to the bright lights of London, the posh actress and model is loving self-isolation out in the sticks.

And that’s probably because she has enough bedrooms at her spacious £6million Herefordshire estate – 13 in all – to have plenty of company.

Family staying with her include her 80-year-old mum Angela, son Damian, 18, and sister Kate – and reports claim there are up to eight people enjoying social distancing with her.

Liz, 54, explained: “I live near Wales now. My sister Kate lives there and my mother has moved in with me.

"I don’t have my friends around. But I am more organised now than I have ever been because I have more time.”

Liz bought Donnington Hall in Ledbury – 29 miles from the Welsh border – with her ex Shane Warne in 2012.

The Georgian mansion, now her main home, also has five bathrooms and its own lake.

Before lockdown, she says she had “people every weekend” while still visiting London “three nights a week if I have to but I might not if I can get away with it.”

She reveals one of her home’s key attractions is a “nice wardrobe”, adding: “I changed one room into a very large dressing room – and for the first time in my life I could see my clothes,” she said.

“It is spectacular. I still only wear so many things but it is a mess as I never seem to say no to anyone wanting to get rid of anything.”

Last week Liz – the face of Estee Lauder since 1995 – posted a snap of herself in lockdown in the iconic purple Versace dress she wore to an awards ceremony in 1999.

Fans commented on how she hadn’t changed.

She also posted a video of herself exercising in a bikini.

But on podcast Wardrobe Malfunction she revealed jeans, sweaters and gym shoes are her “uniform”, adding: “I am always very jealous when I see a girl in a skirt as I have not worn a skirt in the daytime since school. Ever.”
