Liz Hurley isolates with her nephew after he bounced back from chilling knife attack

Liz Hurley has been giving fans glimpses into the domestic bliss of her country quarantine, but what they might not realise is that nephew Miles is right there with her in Herefordshire.

Liz has previously told that she and son Damian, 18, have been joined by seven others in lockdown, including a close pal, Liz's mum, 80, and her auntie, in her late 70s.

Damian shared a snap with cousin Miles and their grandma Angela, in celebration of her 80th birthday.

Miles is one of those others - having bounced back after a knife attack saw him lose four pints of blood.

Miles recalled the March 2018 incident, in which he had been driving mum (and Liz's sister) Katie's car with mate Romell, when they were involved in a collision.

Things turned nasty pretty quickly, and Miles, then 21, was stabbed by one of the men.

He told The Mail on Sunday : "The adrenalin kicked in - it was fight or flight.

"I heard them shouting 'Poke him, poke him.'

"I didn't feel anything, there was no pain. I had no idea I'd been stabbed."

Liz took to social media at the time to call for justice against the "animals" who committed the crime.

In a lengthy post, Liz raged: "My 21 year old nephew @mileshurley1 was brutally attacked by four men in London on Thursday night.

"He was repeatedly stabbed and lost more than four pints of blood.

"A policeman was patrolling close by and administered first aid until the ambulance arrived. The deepest wound just missed severing his spine. By some miracle no vital organs were damaged.

"We are praying that these animals are caught before they maim, or even kill, someone else.

"These are sad days."

Later that year, Liz was said to be furious after the police dropped the case.

A source close to the Hurleys told The Sun : "The family were warned the DNA was not of sufficient quality to get a full profile.

"Liz's concern was that these scumbags who tried to murder Miles are still out there, and will strike again.

"Miles has spent a lot of time recovering and still has nightmares - so to be told there is nothing police can do is upsetting for everyone."
